Kate Angus | Reading Series: Pen & Brush

“Pen and Brush Presents…” is a reading series originally founded by Kate Angus for Pen and Brush, the 122-year old nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a platform for women in the visual and literary arts. The series supports editorial curation as well as exciting new writing by established and emerging writers. Each month, “Pen and Brush Presents…” features readings by three writers, each one selected by editors at a press, journal, or organization with a strong female editorial presence. The reading series takes place at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month, beginning on March 2nd, at Pen and Brush’s headquarters at 29 East 22nd Street between Park Avenue and Broadway. The readings are free and open to the public; complimentary refreshments are provided. The series is currently curated by Pen and Brush.
